Jeff Taylor has been a valued employee of All American Co-op for 43 years. Jeff has decided that it is time to retire from All American Co-op. Jeff’s last day of work will be Friday September 28, 2018. Jeff and his wife Mary are hosting a retirement party on Sunday October 7, 2018 at the Rochester Event Center from 2-6 pm. Jeff extends a personal invitation to all of the employees at All American Co-op, “I know that it is harvest season, but I hope that everyone is able to join me in celebrating my retirement!”
In the past 43 years Jeff has seen many changes within the co-op. When Jeff started working for the co-op in 1975 All American Co-op was still called Farmers Elevator Co. In 1975 the Co-op was purchasing our first Terra Gators for the agronomy division. In 1976, the Liquid Fertilizer Plant was being built at Stewartville with a new chemical warehouse soon to follow. In 1979, the last rail cars rolled thru Stewartville. Jeff remembers the hard work unloading rail cars, Jeff says, “it was all hands on deck” when the rail cars arrived with product”. In 1980 Farmers Elevator Co. became All American Co-op. The growth of the co-op and expansion of territory and facilities has continued. Jeff has been proud to be an employee of the co-op thru all of the changes the past 43 years. Jeff has a lot of memories and fun stories to share from his career with the co-op.
Jeff appreciates the many friendships he has made during his career at All American Co-op. After 43 years of service to All American Co-op Jeff says that walking out the doors on September 28th will be difficult, but he is looking forward to having time to relax and spend time with family and friends. Jeff says, “It will be strange not visiting with our farmers during harvest. I hope that everyone has a safe harvest season!”
Everyone at All American Co-op wants to wish Jeff a long and happy retirement! Thank you for your dedication to our co-op for the past 43 years.
